An adventure it is because my oven is a tiny metal box that many people use to make toasts. I can never get the oven door to close completely since the spring mechanism broke 2 years ago. My mixer is the mighty ol' whisk and these two hands. Yet, the outcome never failed me. I love it when the house is filled with the aroma of a bread or a cake baking. The tempting urge to taste the cakes and breads whilst it is piping hot. I just love it. The square cakes are baked chocolate cake and the rounded one is the steamed. Made on different days but I am too lazy to create a separate entry. Both are incredibly delicious.
